We are a family-friendly hotel in the heart of Stoke on Trent. Children under 12 stay and eat free in the hotel when accompanied by an adult and dining from the regular menu, however there are numerous restaurants in Hanley and the local area to choose from.

Stoke on Trent is a city brimming with vitality and culture and is bidding to be UK City of Culture 2021If you are planning a staycation in 2017 there is lots to do in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire and the hotel is a great place to stay for the area's numerous attractions and cultural highlights. Nearby attractions include Emma Bridgewater Factory,  World of Wedgwood, The Potteries Museum (famous for the Anglo-Saxon treasure-trove, the Staffordshire Hoard), Monkey Forest, Gladstone Pottery Museum and Middleport Pottery. Alton Towers and The Peak District are 30 minutes from the hotel. If you like shopping, Potteries Shopping Centre is the largest shopping, restaurant and entertainment complex  in Staffordshire and South Cheshire. The historic market town of Newcastle-under-Lyme is also a short drive.

The hotel has direct links to Stoke-on-Trent's Potteries heritage. Josiah Wedgwood, the "Father of English Potters." lived in Etruria Hall and this impressive 18th century building is now our dedicated 8-room meetings and events centre and a popular Staffordshire wedding venue. If you are planning a conference or meeting in Stoke-on-Trent the hotel has twelve conference and event rooms. Just a short walk from the hotel are the dry ski slopes and toboggan runs at Stoke Ski Centre  , Waterworld indoor aqua park and a ten-pin  Bowling Alley. The city's business district is close to the hotel, whilst Hanley's shops, theatres, museums and cinemas are on our doorstep.
Local theatres include Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall, the New Vic and The Mitchell Arts Centre.
There is a choice of cinemas in the area.Odeon cinema is a short walk from the hotel, whilst Cineworld in Hanley and Vue Cinema in the market town of Newcastle-under-Lyme are both within 10 minutes drive of the hotel.

Other local visitor attractions include Monkey Forest where you can walk amongst 140 Barbary macaques that roam freely in 60 acres of Staffordshire woodland. The hotel is next door to the indoor tropical aqua park Water World. Middleport Pottery  is now an exciting and award-winning visitor destination in the heart of Burslem, the Mother Town of the Potteries. Gladstone Pottery Museum

Stoke-on-Trent is world famous for its pottery and no visit to the city would be complete without experiencing this unique museum.
